Threats Against Afghan Blogger

Just when the BBC was beginning to clean-up its image, death threats against an Afghan blogger have been traced back to an IP address located at the British news media’s headquarters.

I know, I know. I am as sick of discussing stories relating to director/communist sympathizer Oliver Stone as much as you are but I just could not pass up the opportunity to expose him yet again for the two-timing hack that he is. Stone blamed the critical and commercial failure of his last epic-drama, Alexander, starring Colin Ferrell and Angelina Jolie, on (you guessed it) America’s youth misunderstanding ancient history. Sure, that’s the reason. This of course explains why only fourteen percent of critics, in other words twenty-five out of one-hundred and fifty-three reviews collected, at Rotten Tomatoes said they liked the film because as we all know, the youth in this country make up a majority of the film critics in the journalism community. It has nothing to do whatsoever with the inadvertently laughable dialogue, its tedious time length, a severe curtailment of lighthearted humor, and Stone’s loose interpretation of historical facts. Yeah, that must be it.
As if we needed further verification to the fact that director/communist sympathizer Oliver Stone should be one of the last human beings on the face of this planet to direct a film concerning the events of September 11th, 2001, he has now come out against President George W. Bush’s reaction to the tragic event including the invasion of Iraq.
Here is at least one incentive to consider having current Vice-President Dick Cheney run for the presidency of the United States in 2008. It may not be much but at least it's a start.
Given that Commander in Chief’s creator and marquee star are both Democrats, the latter being quite vocal in the last year in her opinions of the current administration, I can not say that I am holding my breath that they will come through on their promise. However, I am not all that excited about show, as opposed to how I felt about LOST at the beginning of last season, and I can see this show being cancelled by mid-season. We may not have to worry about it for too long then if it does become political.
I likely will not be able to read Robert Spencer’s The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam (and the Crusades) for quite awhile, in spite of finishing ‘Michael Moore is a Big Fat Stupid White Man’ I still have Ann Coulter’s latest book to catch up on and for some reason I find myself caught up reading ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’ at the current moment, but I thought I would take the time to push it here on the weblog.
The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam (and the Crusades) covers such controversial issues regarding Islam and the Crusades as:

Head on over to ABC News where exclusive photos pertaining to the London train bombings on July 7th, 2005, as well as the continuing investigation into who’s responsible for perpetrating this horrific event, have been posted. This may not exactly give us an exact idea what the British went through that day but it is pretty damn close.
All I have to say is that it is about damn time that NASA suspended the shuttle program following the latest maintenance debacle, this time on the space shuttle Discovery. In my opinion, and believe me when I say that I am not the only space fanatic out there who thinks this, the shuttle program has done nothing more then high school science projects performed within a zero-gravity environment that could just as easily be performed on solid ground and yield the exact same results. For years I have been the one who has demanded that NASA dump the program and concentrate all their efforts in returning to the moon (direct competition with China would result in sense of urgency like the space race with Russia did in the 1950s and 60s) and landing on the planet Mars. Sadly, with the current NASA administrators still in place I believe this will act as a blow to their pride and confidence which will hinder chances of those missions being accomplished within the next ten – twenty years. I just hope I am wrong on that part.
I was pleased this evening to see Professor John McAdams post an op-ed column he had written for the Heartland Institute defending Wal-Mart against left-wing criticism that the business giant is decimating small town businesses and not providing competitive wages. As an associate of Wal-Mart for the summer (and I was surprised to hear that GOP3.com’s own Brian Collar was once a Wal-Mart employee as well) I have become familiar with the inner-workings of the corporation giant, at least as far as management goes from a single store perspective, and though I certainly have my quips against Wal-Mart, mainly with how things are run in the backroom and others issues which I will refrain from discussing at this point, but I hardly see Wal-Mart’s success in the free-market environment a threat to the economic freedom of America. If anything, it is a shining example of how capitalism, as opposed to static liberal socialism (and/or communism), works.
According to the Washington Post, a liberal Washington think-tank has estimated that it would cost the United States government forty-one billion dollars to forcibly remove the estimated (and even this is a conservative number) ten million illegal immigrants from the country. And who pray tell do we have to blame for this? That would be the liberals and their RINO cronies in Congress who passed the Immigration Reform and Control Act Amnesty of 1986 which, according to the Center for Immigration Studies, increased illegal alien activity into this country dramatically. Imagine how much taxpayer money would have been saved had we done what we should done back then by kicking them out our country instead of giving them a free pass to walk all over us for years to come.
I am just amazed and saddened at the sight of such arrogant individuals in this world who don’t quit while they are ahead in life. I am of course referring to Jane Fonda who, right on the heels of a promotional tour for her best-selling autobiography “My Life So Far” and the contemptible amount of media buzz surrounding her return to the silver screen in the critically panned Monster-in-Law co-starring opposite J. Lo, has decided to return to her once thought bygone hippie days, leading a group of fellow liberal activists on a cross-country bus tour to demand an end to the war efforts in Iraq. And just when some people, not many but some, were beginning to forget her treachery during the Vietnam War. Anyone else out there want to kindly inform Miss Fonda that the 1960s are (thank God) done and over with? What makes this even more pitiful then it already is (and it is, safe to say, pretty damn pathetic at this point) that she intends on crossing the country on a hippie tour bus fueled by nothing more then vegetable oil. That’s right – vegetable oil! I hope she has taken the liberty of purchasing a whole truck load of it because I don’t recall a single street-corner gas station in this country selling cheap, reliable vegetable oil fuel. What maniacal stunt is she going to pull this time? Strap makeshift bombs to the sides of the tour bus? Whatever it may be we can only an individual with a conscious and sense of loyalty to one’s own country will be there when it happens with a digital camera in tow. I just find it a bit convenient that Miss Fonda has found the courage to ‘come out’ against the war now, as opposed to when the United States invaded Iraq in March 2003, AFTER the release of her autobiography and AFTER her return to the movie industry.
Further reason why Islam is as great a threat today as Nazism and Communism were sixty years ago.
Don’t you just love it how the Democrats like to hide behind the tried and true “freedom of speech” line whenever the subject involved serves to reflect their particular political objectives and/or beliefs but not others? This true of Attorney General Bill Lockyer, a California liberal no less, who has refused to remove a painting on display in the cafeteria of the state Department of Justice which depicts the United States sinking into a toilet with the slogan “T’anks to Mr. Bush”. A commentator on Fox News noted that if the painting had instead depicted a message against abortion, a clear violation of ‘women’s rights’ in the mindset of liberals, then Lockyer would have refused to allow it to be displayed in the government building. My opinion is that if the Ten Commandments have no place inside a government building then neither does partisan political propagandist pieces.
Hey, did anyone happen to catch the story today about how security forces for the Sudanese government manhandled a group of U.S. officials and reporters, amongst them NBC’s Andrea Mitchell, traveling with Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to the country for a round of negotiations? First off, how stupid are the Sudanese? They have been placed under a microscope by the United States of America for years, long before even Colin Powell admitted to the public that what was taking place in the country was nothing less then genocide (which is true), so why draw further attention to themselves? Andrea Mitchell has already come out and derided the government of Sudan absence of ‘freedom of the press’. This of course brings me to my second and final point on this topic. Ever since George W. Bush took office the left-wing media has done nothing but gripe and complain about how ‘freedom of the press’ does not exist under Bush’s ‘imperialist America’ and how there is a lack of communication between the press and the White House as there was under the Clinton Administration. This, I hope, will send a wake up call to the media, if only for a short time.
In spite of the fervent hopes of millions of Americans that a reconciliation could be reached in due time (yes, this is called sarcasm, ladies and gentlemen), Madonna has snubbed the land of her birth in a recent interview stating, “I love England and want to be here and not in America. I see England as my home”. Normally a situation such as this would have me insisting that the other country can keep her but with England having come under attack from al Qaeda in recent weeks, this is the last bit of news they need right now.

Though I do respect and often enjoy reading Ann Coulter’s work on her website, this is not to say that she is the definitive voice when it comes to conservative issues in politics. The latest example comes in her argument that President George W. Bush’s Supreme Court nominee, John Roberts, is essentially a blank slate and could potentially be a David Souter in disguise. She makes some valid arguments but I still believe that not enough is known about him to make a sound judgment on his confirmation as of yet. For the time being we should support the President’s decision until the confirmation process has begun and we can make a more valid decision on whether Roberts is the right choice for the Supreme Court or not.

This is a laugh riot. Who wants to take bets on how long, or short depending on how gullible you are, it will take for former-Vice President Al Gore’s brand new television news channel to suddenly become partisan? Any takers?
“To all who come to this happy place: Welcome. Disneyland is your land. Here, age relives fond memories of the past, and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future. Disneyland is dedicated to the ideals, the dreams, and the hard facts that have created America, with the hope that it will be a source of joy and inspiration to all the world.”
What has the world come to when sick and demented events such as the following are occurring out there?
"Deputies don't believe a crime occurred because bestiality is not illegal in Washington state and the horse was uninjured"Thank God the horse walked away unharmed. For a minute there I was worried. I am sure he is in for a load of post-traumatic therapy and animal counseling but here is hoping he can make a full and safe recovery.
French arrogance and the recent discovery of cocaine traces in the EU Parliament are all part of a day’s work within Jacque Chirac’s sick-twisted imaginative world known simply as the European Union.
Seriously, I don’t know whether to laugh or cry in regard to this story. Even if it turns out to be accurate, I doubt this will change the landscape of the debate between conservatives and the left-wing environmentalist wackos. This however does further my belief in the worthlessness of The Day After Tomorrow, though to be honest I never held it in much high regard before this either, so in retrospect this does not change things much. But at least it is something.
It simply drives me nuts that the United States of America is automatically designated by the world as one of the most racist nations on the face of the planet, due in part to the violence which ensued in the midst of the civil rights movement in the 1950s and 60s, when other countries like Canada and Communist China have incidents that would be defined as racism occurring within their borders and receiving not so much as a single mention on the evening news, either in the United States or throughout the world.
In spite of ‘documentary’ film fabricator Michael Moore’s assertion in his Academy Award-winning film Bowling for Columbine that the nation of Canada is “heaven on Earth”, particularly for black people, a recent decision by a Quebec convenience-store chain to carry candy being marketed with a caricature of a black man has resulted in cries of protest from local Canadian black youth groups who claim that this is a glaring example of subtle racism in the province.
