The Lawgivers Giveth and Taketh Away

Disneyland Trip Report - Day 4: Disneyland the First Fifty Years

The original concept art of the Disneyland theme park

Sculpture of a figure for the "It's a Small World" attraction designed for the 1964 World's Fair

An attraction poster for Dumbo the Flying Elephant in Fantasyland

Sleeping Beauty Castle in sculpture form

Sculpture figures of Five Bear Rug from The Country Bear Jamboree which left the Disneyland resort a few years ago to make room for The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

Sculpture figure of audio-animatronic from the America Sings attraction

Concept art of Space Mountain which hopes to re-open with a brand new experience for Disneyland guests just in time for the official 50th Anniversary of the theme park this July

Concept art for The Haunted Mansion in New Orleans Square

I can't remember exactly where this was from but I believe this is another sculpture figure of an audio-animatronic from the America Sings attraction

This of course is suppose to have more symbolic meaning when Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln is playing at the Main Street Opera House but thought it still rang true nonetheless

This wasn't part of the Disneyland Anniversary presentation but I forgot to include it in the last patch of Disneyland photos - this is the 'midget' woman who was the character handler for the princesses at the character breakfast we went to - honestly she was absurdly small

Purchase Camp G'itmo Merchandise Today!

Martin Emerson alerted me to this (thanks by the way), Rush Limbaugh has placed merchandise on his website mocking the allegations of 'abuse' at Guatanamo Bay, Cuba. The list of merchandise includes a "Jihad Java Cafe" mug, a "My Mullah went to Club G'itmo" t-shirt, a "I Got My Free Koran and Prayer Rug at Club G'itmo" t-shirt, a "Club G'itmo" hat, "What Happens in G'itmo Stays in G'itmo" t-shirt, and a "Your Tropical Retreat from the Stress of Jihad" t-shirt. Click the picture below to begin purchasing this merchandise today.

This, of course, is my personal favorite:

Winnie the Pooh in a scene from a "Blustery Day"

Oh, Silly Old Bear!

Though this is a cute little attraction, it is not as consistent as the Walt Disney World version when it comes to the storyline and it does not flow quite as well either

A Happiest Faces on Earth display outside the entrance to The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

A dedication to the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction in New Orleans Square (rumors are the attraction is about to undergo a rather lengthy rehab which would add on a number of new elaborate sets and special effects, including possibly a Jack Sparrow audio-animatronic at the end to the ride)

Inside Pirates of the Caribbean (shhhh, don't tell anyone I used flash photography)

The queue area for the Indiana Jones Adventure

Bob, the ancient idol from the Jungle Cruise attraction (photograph taken from the exit to the Indiana Jones Adventure)
