Where are Tim Robbins and Sean Penn When You Need Them?

Does this sound familiar? It should, to Republicans at least, because this is the exact same reaction the Democratic Party expressed when they ramped up plans to defeat President Bush in the 2004 presidential election, only to wait till the very last minute in which to select a candidate and even once they had made a selection they continually second-guessed themselves throughout the campaign, pulling John Edwards back in to bolster Kerry’s sour image. How can the Democratic Party of the state of California, let alone the entire DNC organization itself, be taken seriously when their top choices for candidates are Steve Jobs, Rob Reiner, and Robin Williams? What, this is not up Tim Robbins or Sean Penn’s alley?
