Tough Love

I do not know whether to laugh hysterically at this news item or hang my head in shame and disgust. Taxpayers in the United States pour, unwillingly mind you, millions upon millions of our own hard-earned dollars into the public school systems and receive so little in return for our overtly generous contribution to the pursuit of ‘education’ and knowledge. In the state of Colorado, is this honestly the best way they could find to demonstrate the ‘effectiveness’ of the public educational bureaucracy?
