Hilary Not to Finish Senate Term?

Remember on May 17th, 2005, when I reported that Republican Richard Cox, the son-in-law of the late-President Richard Nixon, was formulating a campaign to run for the senate seat of the State of New York against Hilary Rodham Clinton and how this could potentially hinder chances to run for the White House on the Democratic ticket? And what can her solution be to this dilemma? According to the Washington Post, a new book written by Washington Post columnist John F. Farris entitled “The Survivor: Bill Clinton in the White House” believes she choose not to complete her senate term in order to save face and have no bad mark on record going into the primaries, whether she wins in a close race in the senate campaign or loses. I however find this very unlikely and don’t view John Farris, or his book, to be all that reliable. The description of the book paints consultant Dick Morris, who has come out against the Clinton Administration following the attacks on September 11th and blames the tragedy of that day in 2001 as a failure of President Clinton, as quite sleazy and credits “Clinton with recognizing the growing threat posed by al-Qaeda and expanding U.S. efforts against it”, a description hardly pertinent for the man who three times allowed Usama Bin Ladin escape when he had been handed to us on a silver plate. Hilary, much like her husband, is arrogant and will see through the end of her term in the Senate. She will seek re-election in an attempt to be the Democratic Party’s knight in shining armor and ride into the primaries on a white horse to supposedly save the day.
