Thinking About the Great Liberator

Power Line rightfully suggests that in light of the Supreme Court’s recent decision in the Hamden case in which President George W. Bush’s presidential power in this time of war was severely undercut that we should revisit a period in American history, my favorite – the Civil War, when Abraham Lincoln, the Great Liberator, was faced with the same quandary.
