NARAL Withdraws Anti-Roberts Ad

NARAL runs away with its tail between its legs, withdrawing the controversial advertisement linking Supreme Court nominee John Roberts to violent anti-abortion groups after a week of protests from conservatives. But in typical left-wing extremist style, Nancy Keenan, president of NARAL Pro-Choice America, did an about-face in her defense of the advertisement, blaming instead the group’s conservative detractors for the bad publicity. “We regret that many people have misconstrued our recent advertisement about Mr. Roberts' record,” she said in a statement on Thursday, “Unfortunately, the debate over that advertisement has become a distraction from the serious discussion we hoped to have with the American public”. And whose fault is that?
