Governor Warren Beatty?!

Oh Warren Beatty, when will you learn? Tricks are for kids! Apparently there was a rumor floating around the Golden State for quite a length period of time that writer/director/producer/actor, none of which he is exceptionally gifted at by way, Warren Beatty was the leading candidate to run on the Democratic ticket in the gubernatorial election to face off against incumbent Republican Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Beatty of course denies the reports. Besides, the Democratic Party of California has had quite a bit of time to find a decent enough candidate to attempt to reclaim the governorship of California in 2006 and Warren Beatty is the best they could come up with? That is a laugh! I wouldn’t be surprised if Beatty started the rumors himself just to create publicity for his withering career. The man is so high on himself that after all these years he still believes that his film, Dick Tracy, was still a box office smash which it wasn’t, at least if you factored in production budgets and marketing costs. In fact he is battling in court for the movie rights right now, in spite of Michael Eisner, let alone the rest of the Walt Disney Company, wanting to have nothing do with this dismal failure. Seeing as how La-La Land has been the source of a majority of the DNC’s funds for years, it is not surprising then to find them searching for candidate to run on their ticket in the next gubernatorial race in California. But, seriously, Warren Beatty?! Come on!
