Tenn. Mine Enriched Gore, Scarred Land

Wow, Al Gore just can’t get any love from his home state of Tennessee. First, they failed to vote for him in the 2000 presidential election then the Tennessee Center for Policy Research the day after he won two Academy Awards for his global-warming ‘documentary’ An Inconvenient Truth releases a report condemning the former vice-president’s energy conservation hypocrisy and now Tennessean.com is reporting that Al Gore “received more than $500,000 in royalties from the owners of zinc mines who held mineral leases on his farm near Carthage, Tenn … [which] emitted thousands of pounds of toxic substances and several times … into nearby rivers [and] had levels of toxins above what was legal”.
