Matt Johnson: Hypocrite

Pathetic. Absolutely, positively pathetic. That is all I have to say regarding the so-called liberal response on campus to my Viewpoint article concerning the ‘Scooter’ Libby case. The simple fact of the matter is that not once does Matt Johnson address a single concern I had regarding the case. Yes, our intelligence sources are our best asset in the war against terrorism, I agree, however this was not about intelligence. This was about Joseph Wilson seeking revenge on the Bush Administration after the Senate Intelligence Committee disregarded his assessment of the ‘yellow cakes’ theory and declared that what Bush claimed in his State of the Union address was accurate. However, this may very well come back and bite him in the ass. If a trial is conducted to determine whether or not ‘Scooter’ Libby committed perjury, there will undoubtedly be information regarding Joseph Wilson that Joseph Wilson will not want the public to know about, specifically how big of a fraud he and his wife are.
