New Mexican Stamp Charged with Racism

The Mexicans are at it again. This time it involves a black cartoon monkey, one which bares a striking resemblance to the racist caricatures of blacks which existed during the 1920s and 30s, which is a popular comic-book character in Mexico and has been commissioned his own stamp by President Vicente Fox. He dismisses the accusations of racism stating, "They don't have information, frankly".
