Disneyland Trip Report - Day 3: Parade of Dreams

Tinkerbell and Peter Pan lead "Walt Disney's Parade of Dreams" at the Magic Kingdom theme park

What confused me the most about this parade is how it fit into the theme of celebrating Disneyland's 50th Anniversary

Few if any of these floats are based on Disneyland attractions or have themes relating to Disneyland's 50th Anniversary Celebration

But I do have to say that some of the floats, particularly the Ursula float, were quite elaborate and very well done, even if they didn't have a theme with the 50th Anniversary celebration

Alice in Wonderland float

Alice in Wonderland float

The Lion King float (similar to the float which ran in the animated film themed parade when the film was released in 1994)

"Pumbaa ... not in front of the kids!" "Oh! Sooorrry!"

Pluto dances a little jig in the finale to the Parade of Dreams

Only seems appropriate, doesn't it? A little anti-climatic for this particular parade though.

Two ways to tell if it's Dale ... goofy looking teeth and shining red nose

Mickey Mouse ... Donald Duck .... Mickey Mouse .... Donald Duck

Isn't that sweet?! Donald's blowing you kisses goodbye!
